What You'll Do As a part of the Legal and Regulatory Services team, you'll play a key role in the continued success of our Retirement Plans Business Unit. You'll utilize your strong collaboration skills and industry expertise to offer advice and counsel to key stakeholders, provide legally compliant products for our clients, and help achieve The Standard's business goals. Minimum of two years of experience in relevant areas of the law, or the equivalent combination of education and experience..
Substantive understanding of the retirement plan industry and regulatory structure (including ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, securities and state insurance law)..
Strong communications skills, including ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive work product, while also being an active listener..
Ability to work with internal business partners to identify and prioritize business needs and then assess and communicate potential risks and opportunities..
Develop and deliver successful presentations to internal audiences..
